The centre was set up 5 years ago and is designed to allow for caring and responsible dog owners and their dog and/or puppy in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to undertake training and behavioural consultations in a completely safe and friendly environment. Norfolk K9 is listed with the Kennel Club and provides training in support of the Kennel Club's Good Citizen Dog Scheme up to and including Gold Award.
methods and techniques, which incorporate a wide range of methods such as voice control, rewards and clicker training to suit the individual characteristics and needs of your dog. If required, training can be arranged to take place at your home on a one to one basis.
The Centre can assist in training or correcting behavioural problems at all the stages in a dog’s life, whether it be puppies or rescue dogs recently introduced to your home. Some problems will be simpler to solve than others but you can be assured that the Norfolk K9 training centre will make every effort to assist both you and your dog to overcome any training or behavioural difficulties.
We also run Talking Dogs Rally training classes for level one and level two every Thursday evening at West Acre Village Hall from 7.45pm to 9.00pm.
The proprietor Martin Wardle has studied and qualified as both a Member of the Institute Pet Behaviour Consultants (MIPBC) and a Member of Institute for Animal Care Education (MIACE). Martin is also a Kennel Club Good Citizen Award examiner.
By prior appointment, Martin is available for private behavioural consultations.
Martin has 4 dogs at home: Max (Black Shepherd), Rhia (Border Collie), Breeze (a Dog's Trust rescue Wesh Collie) and Bertie (a Dog's Trust rescue Collie Cross)
